The transformation into bagasse consumes little energy, with a carbon impact estimated at about 0.5-0.7 kg CO₂ eq/kg (much lower than plastic or polystyrene containers).
• Biodegradable: Decomposes naturally without leaving microplastics, helping to reduce pollution from plastic waste.
• Utilization of agricultural waste: Uses a by-product that would otherwise be burned or discarded, thus reducing agricultural waste and associated greenhouse gas emissions.

Properties:

• Biodegradability: Decomposes in 180 to 240 days in home compost (does not require industrial composting).

Precautions:

• Suitable for hot (up to 100 °C) or cold, dry or moist dishes (including with sauces).
• Do not use for extremely acidic foods (e.g., pure lemon or vinegar) for more than 3 hours, as this may accelerate degradation.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to very hot liquids (>100 °C) to preserve structure.
• Single-use product, but can be reused 2 to 3 times if handled carefully.

Maintenance:

• Rinse with warm water and mild soap after use if reuse is intended, then dry immediately to avoid moisture absorption.
• Do not place in the dishwasher, as excessive heat and moisture may soften the material.

End of Life:

• Compostable at home.
• Do not throw in nature, even if biodegradable.
